With the general election only 16 days away it’s time to identify the Pro-Liberty candidates…

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months you’ll know that on May 7th the UK will go o the polls in a General Election. However many Libertarian and Classical Liberal types may still be unsure who to vote for in a field that is crowded with statists. But fear not, mixed in amongst the statists, corporatists and authoritarians are a bastion of pro-liberty candidates in several parties.

The aim of the Liberty List is to identify these candidates and help libertarians find out which candidates will stand up for Free Markets and/or Civil Liberties.

The candidates are measured out of 5 on Civil Liberties, Economic Liberties and National Liberty. Civil Liberties takes into account the candidates records on social issues. Economic Liberties looks at their attitudes towards Free Markets and economic freedom. National Liberty looks at where they stand on constitutional issues and the freedom of the country.
