130,000 sign petition demanding all terror suspects are interned or expelled

Following Monday’s horrific terrorist attack in Manchester over 130,000 people have signed a petition demanding that the Government locks up or expels all 3,000 potential terrorists who are currently being monitored by the authorities. The petition, started by Derran Mace from Suffolk, demands the additional measures to stop ‘these already “KNOWN” Terrorists who are attacking & killing our people, including children’.

A vigil in Manchester for those killed in Monday’s attack on the Manchester Arena.

The call for dramatic measures is directed at Prime Minister Theresa May and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, neither of whom have responded formally at the time of publication.

Internment hasn’t been used in mainland Britain since WW2, but was used to detain 342 suspected IRA members in August 1971 in Northern Ireland.
