A brief insight into the post Leveson World emerged today. David Hass, who is the Director of Communications for Hacked Off, the pro press regulation pressure group, which he describes as a ‘campaign for a free and accountable press’ today showed what sort of free press Hacked Off wants. When the Political Correspondent of the London Evening Standard tweeted a picture of Private Eye front page, an image mocking Hacked Off, Hass told him to ‘take this down immediately.’ Is this a chilling beginning to a world with press regulation?
Come on Milton, even dangerous men can crack jokes.
Hitler was a right larf apparently.
“I asked this Jewish girl for her number…
and she rolled up her sleeve! L O L.”
I think from Hass’ comment further down the thread, “one of the kittens is subversively looking in the wrong direction. All must conform” (https://twitter.com/HackedOffHass/statuses/390028666719453184) that there’s a chance he might not have been entirely serious
Doubtful, that was written more than an hour after his previous comment.
